Steps

Wash rice, urad, poha seperately and thoroughly.

Soak them seperately for about 5-6 hours

Grind them seperately into paste by adding little water. The batter should be of flowing consistency.

Mix the grinded rice, poha, urad dal and fenugreek seeds. Mix thoroughly.

Keep this in a warm place for about 8 hours for fermentation.

The batter should double after fermentation.

Divide the mixture into 4.
Add different food colour in different bowl. Mix well. - 8
Grease the idli pan, pour a spoon ful of one colour, then second, then third and fourth.

Steam for 10 -12 minutes.
Remove the idli stand. Let them cool down. - 11
Unmold and enjoy with Sambhar and coconut chutney.
