Fava Beans, Shrimp, and Scallops in a Basil Mayonnaise Dressing

I had a large amount of fava beans, so I made this for a party. It's great as an appetizer.
Be careful not to lose the texture of the fava beans by over-boiling them. Season as you like with salt and pepper. I used basil, but you can also use coarsely ground pepper, if you like. Recipe by Estoyllena

Steps
- 1
Boil the fava beans, but not too much (about 5 minutes) and remove the membranes. If you over-boil them, they will become discolored, so adjust the boiling time as needed.
- 2
Prepare and boil the shrimp. While they're boiling, add a bit of sake to the pot. Use any size shrimp you like; even small ones are okay.
- 3
Combine the fava beans, scallops, shrimp, mayonnaise, basil, and salt. Add pepper for an even more delicious touch.
