Ingredients

  • 1 cupLobia
  • 1/2 cupraw rice
  • As neededWater
  • 2 cuprock sugar (crushed)
  • as requiredCardamom crushed
  • As neededOil to fry
  • 2 tbspGhee

Steps

    Stone pound the lobia then grind and sieve.

    Grind raw rice and sieve to make rice flour

    Now mix lobia flour and rice flour and add water to make a smooth paste of pouring consistency.

    Now heat oil and 2 tbsp ghee together in oil add lobia batter through a ladle which has many little holes to form boondi shape.

    Fry the boondis for 30-40 secs and keep aside tillthe whole batch is done.. note: don't fry for too long so the color gets dark.

    Now mix rock sugar, 1 cup water and cardamom Powder cook till it thichens a bit then add all the boondis, stir well, switch off gas, and cover for 15 mins.

    After 15 mins boondis are ready to be served.
