This recipe is so delicious and takes less time to prepare. This is one of the favourite recipe of my family. This is a very nice snack and also goes well with Poori/Luchi.

This recipe is so delicious and takes less time to prepare. This is one of the favourite recipe of my family. This is a very nice snack and also goes well with Poori/Luchi.

Steps

Clean,wash and pat dry the mushrooms. Chop each one to equal halves. Mix salt, turmeric, chilli powder and 1 tsp oil. Coat masala nicely and rest the marinated mushrooms for 10 minutes.

Heat a pan, stir fry the marinated mushrooms, till all the water (released by mushrooms) dries up. Set aside the mushrooms.

Heat rest 2 tsp mustard oil till fumigated, slow down the flame and add crushed garlic. Sauté till garlic changes colour.

Add onion flakes and slit green chillies. Stir fry for 2-3 minutes on high flame till the onion chunks are translucent.

Mix chopped tomatoes and stir fry on high flame till softened.

Add the sauteed mushrooms to the pan, mix well with onion masala. Fry for 3-4 minutes and serve hot, sprinkling lemon juice and crushed black pepper.
