Strain the yogurt through a sieve to remove excess water. Do not add any water.

Add the powdered sugar to the strained yogurt and mix well with a spoon.

Add the chopped apple, grapes, and fox nuts to the yogurt and mix. (You can also add banana slices or pomegranate seeds if you like. I didn’t have them on hand.)

Mix everything together. Top with chopped almonds and charoli nuts, then serve.

If you prefer, you can refrigerate the raita and enjoy it chilled.
