4 cupsmilk
1 inchraw turmeric
1 pinchblack pepper powder
few cubes of mishri (khand or rock sugar)- optional

Boil milk.Grate raw turmeric.
Once milk is boiled, simmer it and and add grated turmeric to it.

Once again boil it nicely. Add a pinch of black pepper powder. Add mishri to it. (Optional)Once it starts boiling,switch off the flame.

Can have hot or lukewarm.
