Ingredients

Serves 5 servings
  1. 2.2 poundsground beef (1 kilogram)
  2. 1/2 cupgrated onion (about 1/4 kilogram)
  3. 1/2 cupchopped parsley (about 1/2 cup)
  4. 3.5 ouncesground beef fat (about 100 grams)
  5. 1 tablespoonmixed spices
  6. 1 tablespoonblack pepper
  7. 2 teaspoonssalt
  8. 1 teaspoonground nutmeg
  9. 1/2 teaspoonchili powder

  1. 1

    In a large bowl, combine the spices, salt, and mixed spices. Squeeze the grated onion to remove excess liquid, then add it to the bowl along with the beef fat. Mix everything together thoroughly.

    Refrigerate the mixture for 30 minutes.

  3. 3

    Wet your hands with onion juice, then shape the meat mixture onto skewers.

  4. 4

    Grill the skewers over charcoal.

  5. 5

    Turn the skewers occasionally to cook evenly.

  6. 6

    Once cooked, sprinkle with parsley, arrange the kofta on a platter, and serve. Enjoy!
