Ingredients

2-3 hours
12 servings
  • 3 stalkscelery
  • 1small yellow onion
  • 3 boxes (96 oz)total) unsalted beef stock
  • 28 ozpetite diced tomatoes
  • 24 ozfrozen mixed vegetables
  • To taste salt, pepper, hot sauce, and old bay
  • 16 ozcrab meat

Steps

2-3 hours
  1. 1

    Dice onion and celery and sauté in olive oil over low to medium heat until onions begin to get translucent.

  2. 2

    Lower heat and add boxes of beef stock and petite diced tomatoes to pot. Raise heat to high and bring to a boil.

  3. 3

    Add mixed vegetables (do not need to cook ahead of time) and pieces of crab. Bring to a boil then lower to a simmer.

  4. 4

    Add salt, pepper, old bay, and hot sauce to taste. Add crab meat last and simmer for 2-3 hours.
