Ingredients

  • 1 bowlgram flour
  • 1 bowlsemolina
  • 1/2 bowlcurd
  • 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  • 3 tspsugar
  • As neededrefined oil
  • As neededwater
  • 1 packeteno
  • Dhokla water:
  • As neededoil
  • 1 tspmustard seeds
  • 3green chilli chopped
  • As neededwater
  • As neededsugar
  • To taste salt

Steps

  1. 1

    Take a bowl add all ingredients and mix it and make the better.

  2. 2

    A simple trick to a fluffy dhokla-beat the batter well.the more you beat the batter more air is incorporated in the batter,resulting in soft-spongy dhokla.

  3. 3

    Just remamber to beat the batter befor adding eno. After adding eno dont let the batter sit for a long whil. Steam it for 4,5 mints in microwaves.

    When a little cool cut into squres and keep in a serving bowl.

  5. 5

    Now take a deep pan heat the oil.Now add mustred seeds,green chilli and soute it.

  6. 6

    Now add the sugar,water,salt,and mix it and boil it for 2-3 mints.

  7. 7

    When water is little cool than add the dhokla pieces in it for 15 mints.
