Soak rice in water for 20 minutes

Roast the ingredients on a medium flame till the raw smell goes off and grind everything into a fine paste.

Cut onion,potatoes into medium sized pieces.

In a pan add ghee when it melts add Mustard seeds. When it splutter add chana dal, hing and curry leaves

Add the onion,turmeric powder and saute till the onion becomes soft.

Add the grinded paste, salt, soaked rice,mix well and cover the lid.

Cook for 20 minutes on a medium flame.
- 8
After 20 minutes, open the lid, add coatinder leaves,mix well without breaking the rice. Switch off the flame.
