I tried this recipe because I love sweet snacks and I enjoy popcorn. The simplicity is key because am away from home and lack all the ingredients to make the real version. Taste matters, right? 👌🏾 #recipemarathon

Ingredients

5 minutes
1-2 people
  1. Pop corn kernels
  2. Oil
  3. Sugar
  4. Salt

Cooking Instructions

5 minutes
  1. 1

In a sufuria/deep pan, add your pop corn kernels and oil till all are covered, put up the lid and switch on a high flame.

  2. 2

Once the first kernel pops, lower the flame till there's no more pop sound. Remove from flame

  3. 3

In a heavy bottomed pan or sufuria add an even layer of sugar, pinch of salt and switch on the flame. It goes from pik 1-3 very fast so be careful not to burn. Remove from flame.

  4. 4

Add your freshly popped corn and stir fast to cover all of them. Be careful molten sugar is HOT-not a kid friendly recipe.

  5. 5

Once you are satisfied with the coating, serve.
