This recipe was found floating around Pinterest. I jazzed it up a bit and boy, was it delicious. The flavor is absolutely titillating! 👌🏻
It holds a special place in my heart as well, because it happens to be one of the last meals I made for my grandmother before she passed away. She had always held an appreciation for good food, and I cooked for her and my mom as much as time would allow. I’m very grateful that I got to do that one last time.
RIP Grandma Jane. I love you forever.

As a Southern gal and a mother, food is a huge part of my life, along with family and tradition. I'm also quite fond of traveling when I can, (especially to the beach), books, music, and any and all other types of brain food. Hope y'all can find something new to enjoy from my collection of diverse recipes that have been passed around my family, are self-taught or inspired from others, or a combination of all three! There’s nothing plain here! ✌🏻
