Ingredients

  1. 4egg yolks
  2. 6 tablespoonssugar
  3. 4 tablespoonscornstarch
  4. 1 quartmilk
  5. Orange peel
  6. Lemon peel

Cooking Instructions

    Heat the milk with the orange and lemon peels. Once it boils, remove the peels.

    While the milk is heating, in a separate bowl, combine the egg yolks, sugar, cornstarch, and a little milk. Mix well until everything is combined.

    When the milk starts to boil, add the mixture you just prepared. Stir continuously until it starts to boil again, then pour it into bowls.

    I made caramel and poured it over the crema catalana because I didn't have a torch to caramelize it.
