Make a check ist. keep all ingredients close by.

Pressure cook channa dal until soft, then drain and mash or powder it. Mix mashed channa dal with grated coconut, jaggery, and cardamom powder for the filling. Mix powdered channa dal with grated coconut, jaggery, and cardamom powder for the filling.

Dry roast rice flour in a kadai over low heat; color should not change. Boil water with a pinch of salt, add rice flour, and stir to form a smooth dough. should avoid lumping. turn off the stoce. cool a little. Knead well. Cover with a wet cloth

Used 2 different moulds for making modaks as shown in the photos. Grease the mold. yake about 1tsp dough. make a thin lining as shown. Place about 1tbsp filling in the mould as shown. Close to seal,

Gently wrap the dough around the filling to form dumplings. un mould; transfer to the modaks to greased idli plate. steam cook in an idli cooker as you do for cooking idlies. Steam the dumplings for about 10-12 minutes until cooked. let cool to room temperature.

Then transfer to a serving plateOffer to vinayaka as prasad. Then share with family and friend. Jai Ganesh
