Ingredients

  1. 3medium beetroot finely chopped
  2. 1small onion finely chopped
  3. 5curry leaves
  4. 1 teaspoonmustard seeds
  5. 2garlic cloves thinly sliced
  6. 1 teaspoonoil
  7. 4 sprigschopped coriander leaves
  8. Masala
  9. 1 teaspooncoriander powder
  10. Pinchturmeric powder
  11. 2 tablespoongrated coconut

Cooking Instructions

    Heat a pan with oil, add mustard seeds and let it sputter

  2. 2

    Add dried red chillies, garlic, and curry leaves to the pan

  3. 3

    Add chopped onions, coriander powder and saute for 3 minutes

  4. 4

    Add the chopped beetroot, mix and cook for seven minutes

  5. 5

    Add salt to taste, grated coconut and mix well

  6. 6

    Cook for another two minutes. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves
