Ingredients

3 servings
  1. 300 gramsChicken thighs
  2. 1packet Shimeji mushrooms
  3. 1Onion
  4. 1 tbspSake
  5. White Sauce
  6. 300 mlMilk
  7. 30 gramsButter (margarine)
  8. 2 tbspAll-purpose flour
  9. 1Salt and pepper

Steps

    Line the chicken on a plate and sprinkle on some sake. Cover it with plastic wrap and microwave for about a minute.

    Put the butter and onions in a pan and lightly stir. Add in the flour before the butter melts (over medium heat).

    Turn the heat to low, and slowly pour the milk into the pot in 3~4 portions. Slowly stir to prevent the milk from separating.

    Season with salt and pepper after the sauce starts to thicken in about 5 minutes. Please adjust the seasoning to taste.

    Add the chicken and shimeji mushrooms in that order, and cook for 10 more minutes, then you're done!!!
