Ingredients

35-40 minutes
4-5 people
  1. 1 cupchana dal
  2. 1/2 cupdhuli moong
  3. 2 cuppalak (chopped)
  4. 1onion chopped
  5. 2tomatoes chopped
  6. 8-10garlic clove chopped
  7. 1/2 inchginger grated
  8. 2-4green chilli chopped
  9. 1 tspJeera
  10. 1 tspHaldi powder
  11. 1 tspdhania powder
  12. 1 tspkitchen king madala
  13. 1 tspamchur powder
  14. 1-2dry red chilli
  15. 2 tablespoondesi ghee
  16. as per tasteSalt

Steps

35-40 minutes
  1. 1

    Soak chana dal for 30 minutes then take dhuli moong and cook in pressure for 2-3 whistles then sim the gas for 10 minutes. Keep aside the dal.

    Take another pan add ghee, jeera, garlic, ginger, green chilli and onion. Fry for 2-3 minutes after that add tomatoes and fry for another 2-3 minutes then add palak and fry for another couple of minutes.

    Add salt and then add dal and kitchen king masala. Take a small tadka pan add ghee then jeera and dry red chilli and pour the tadka on dal. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves. Serve hot with besan or missi roti.
