Cooking Instructions

Grease your baking tin with margarine and flour

Put margarine and sugar in a bowl and mix well.

Whisk with a whisker or mixer the margarine and sugar until it turns whitish

Add one egg after the other as you continue to whisk
- 5
Repeat the procedure until you are done with all the eggs.

Mix flour and baking powder and sieve.

Add the dry ingredients to wet mixture slowly as you fold using a spatula or cooking stick(mwiko) until all the flour is well incorporated.

Add the dried fruits and vanilla essence to the mixture and fold abit.

Put your mixture into the grease tin.

Preheat your oven at 180⁰c for 15mins.

Put your batter into the oven and bake for 45mins at 180⁰c for 10minutes then reduce the heat at 160⁰c.

Enjoy with coffee or tea.cheers
