This quick recipe makes a simple and delicious tamago (egg) tofu rice bowl #quickmeal

Cooking Instructions

Heat frying pan with oil over high heat. Make sure the oil is hot enough before frying tamago tofu or else they will stick to the pan.

Fry tamago tofu over medium-high heat until both sides are golden brown. Keep swirling the pan to prevent tofus from sticking to the pan.

Add in minced garlic, water, soy sauce, oyster sauce and sugar, stirring occasionally to mix the ingredients well. Add in mixed mushrooms

Cover with lid and cook for 2 mins.

Add in cornstarch dissolved in water and dark soy sauce
- 6
Let the sauce simmer to the right consistency

Serve the dish over a bowl of rice and sprinkle with chopped spring onions.
