Ingredients

  1. 500 gmskarela (bitter gourd)
  2. 1 cupchana dal
  3. 2onion large size
  4. 4Cloves
  5. 1 tspzeera powder
  6. 2 tspdhaniya powder
  7. 1 tsphaldi (turmeric) powder
  8. As per taste salt
  9. 1 tspmustard oil
  10. 2green chillies chopped
  11. 1 tspmustard seeds granded

    Peel off dead skin of bitter gourd and remove seeds from one slit on it.

    Take a bowl and add all ingredients in it and mix with the help of your hands insert the mixture in the bitter gourd with that slit from where you removed seeds.

    Preheat a cooker add 1 tsp oil and put all the stuffed karelas in it and add 1 cup water and close the lid. Turn off the stove after 3 whistles on low flame.

    Open the lid and saute for 3 minutes till the water gets evaporated.

    Your delicious bitter gourd is ready to Serve with rice, dal, or paratha.
