I got the idea for these protein-rich balls from a recipe on a bag of flaxseed meal. It can easily be modified.#energy #cookies #bites #peanut #raw #maple #coconut #walnuts #flaxseed #oats #healthy #dairy-free #flourless Ricardo -

I'm just recently jumping on the energy bite bandwagon and this is a recipe I concocted based on a mix of my two favorite cookie flavors (peanut butter and oatmeal raisin). The recipe is versatile though and there are tons of add in's and substitutions that can be used. For the sticky sweetener/binder you should have 1/3 cup total, so you could use agave instead or use all honey. Maple syrup may not bind well completely on its own. Christina -
