Firstly, peel cut up & wash clean the potatoes, apply some salt & turmeric- Set aside.

Heat up a frying pan over the medium flame: Add in the cooking oil, drop in the nigella seeds, whole dry red chili & allow them to crackle.

Ingo, the cut-up Potatoes now into the frying pan- Sauté until their nice golden brown in color & shrink in their sizes/quantity- Strain out & transfer onto a serving bowl, lined up with a kitchen towel

Ready to be served now, with piping hot steamed rice and dal of your choice.
