Ingredients

  1. 1 canblack beans
  2. 6 ozcan green chilies
  3. 1egg
  4. 1/2cup+2 tbsp panko (additional 1/3 cup panko for coating)
  5. 1/4 cuponion
  6. 1/4 cupcilantro
  7. 1 tbsplime juice
  8. 1 tspcumin
  9. 1garlic clove
  10. 1/2 tspsalt
  11. 1/4 tsppepper
  12. 1 canblack beans
  13. 6 ozcan green chilies
  14. 1egg
  15. 1/2cup+2 tbsp panko (additional 1/3 cup panko for coating)
  16. 1/4 cuponion
  17. 1/4 cupcilantro
  18. 1 tbsplime juice
  19. 1 tspcumin
  20. 1garlic clove
  21. 1/2 tspsalt
  22. 1/4 tsppepper

Steps

  1. 1

    Place all ingredients (except extra 1/3 cup panko) in food processor and pulse until a thick and even purée. Should be thick enough that it sits on a spatial without the urge to fall off. If not thick enough add more panko.

  2. 2

    Place the additional 1/3 cup panko on a plate. Oil your hands and create patties in your plan. Coat each side with panko.

  3. 3

    You can cook patties now but if you have time to refrigerate an hour, they stay together better while cooking.

  4. 4

    Heat 2 tbsp oil in a sauté pan over medium heat. Cool burger 2-4 minutes per side. Serve with your favorite toppings!
