Steps
- 1
I have used talod flour to make the handva. It has all spices and flavors added to it. If you crave eating handva, it's the best option.
- 2
Take the handva flour, add buttermilk, grated bottle gourd, and a pinch of soda. Mix well. Keep stirring with your hands till soft and fluffy.
- 3
Since I have baked it, grease a baking dish, pour the batter into the dish.
- 4
Now in a small wok heat oil, crackle the mustard seed and sesame seed.
- 5
Pour the seasoning over the batter. Bake it in an oven for 1 hr @180°c or till done and crispy on the top.
- 6
Your yummy handva is ready to eat, enjoy it with your tea.
