  • 30 ozcanned White (preferred) or Pinto beans
  • As neededKetchup
  • Salt/pepper
  • Preferred but optional
  • 2 cupVeg Broth
  • 2-3jalapenos

Steps

  1. 1

    Add jalapenos to broth/water and bring it to boil.

  2. 2

    Add beans to the pot. Let it cook.

  3. 3

    Add generous quantity of ketchup. Ketchup gives the sweet taste to the dish.

  4. 4

    Add salt and pepper as per taste.

  5. 5

    Serve with toasted bread and side of fried zucchini and tomatoes.
