Ingredients

30 minutes (and 1 hour marinade)
4 people
  1. 500 gbeef cubes (I used rib eye)
  2. 2 Tablespoonsolive oil
  3. 2 Tablespoonsbutter
  4. 1 cupred wine
  5. 1 cupbeef stock
  6. 1onion
  7. 6 clovesgarlic
  8. 3 Tablespoonssoya sauce
  9. 2chilies (or 1 birds eye)
  10. Maïzena to thicken the sauce
  11. Rolls, chips and salad for serving

Steps

30 minutes (and 1 hour marinade)
  1. 1

    Marinade 500g beef cubes in 2 tablespoons of soya sauce for one hour. Rinse before cooking.

    Melt butter and add olive oil and brown beef for 1 minute per side. Remove from pan.

    Add 1 chopped onion, 6 chopped garlic cloves and 1 chopped birds eye chilli and cook until translucent.

    Add 1 cup of red wine, 1 cup of beef stock add beef cubes. Simmer on low heat for 10 minutes and add maïzena to thicken the sauce.

    Serve with chips and salad or a roll to dunk in the sauce
