  • 1.1 lbsgreen beans (500 g)
  • 1small bunch fresh basil
  • 2 tablespoonspine nuts (30 g)
  • 1 tablespooncrushed ice
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Iodized salt

    Trim and wash the green beans, then boil them until tender. Drain and let them cool in a large bowl.

  2. 2

    Blend the basil leaves with the crushed ice, olive oil, a pinch of salt, and pine nuts. Toss the chopped green beans with the pesto you just made.

  3. 3

    Serve topped with freshly ground black pepper and garnish with extra basil leaves and a few pine nuts, if desired.
