Simple and Delicious Savory Italian Sausage Rice Recipe. For this recipe, I used Delicious Brand- Chicken Italian Herb Sausages, Borges Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Basmati Rice and Kashmiri Chilli Paprika, which made the dish absolutely amazing. Simple and Delicious Savory Italian Sausage Rice Recipe. Firstly, defrost the frozen Chicken Italian Herb Sausages and bring it down to room temperature.

Take the basmati rice in a bowl and wash it three times until the water runs clear and soak in fresh water for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes of soaking time, drain out the water and set aside.

To make the chicken stock, in a small pan, add Maggi chicken stock and 2 cups of water and boil till the cubes melts. Set aside.

Before starting, keep all the following ingredients ready which will help in making the dish quickly and perfectly.

In a kadhai/pan, heat 2 tablespoons of Olive Oil. Place the defrosted Chicken Italian Herb Sausages in the pan and fry over medium heat for about 5 minutes or until golden brown.

When done, remove from kadai and cut into small bite size pieces and set aside.

Add more 1 tablespoon Olive oil to the same pan. Add the chopped onions and saute. Next add the chopped garlic and saute.

Next add the chopped red bell pepper, green beans, black pepper powder and salt

Stir fry for about 2 minutes. Then add the fried and cut Chicken Italian Herb Sausages.

Add kashmiri chilli paprika and stir fry for a minute.

Add the soaked rice and saute for a minute.

Add the chicken stock and mix well. Allow it to come to a boil on high flame.

When it starts boiling, reduce the flame and cover and cook for about 12 minutes or until the rice is tender. After 12 minutes, off the flame and keep covered for another 5 minutes.

Open the lid and mix gently with the help of a fork.

Garnish with chopped spring onions, tomatoes and parsley.

Mix everything well. Add some more parsley.

Simple and Delicious Savory Italian Sausage Rice is ready. Serve and Enjoy it immediately.
