Fall is around the corner and it's time for warm spices baking!
I found the original recipe online but I've adapted it a little (it was a little too sweet) and have to say that now it's AWESOME!!
Let me add that the topping is very dense and sticky; making it,
I thought it would be hard and crunchy but it's not

Ingredients

  1. For Cake
  2. 3 Cflour
  3. 3/4 Csugar
  4. 1/4 tspsalt
  5. 4 tspbaking powder
  6. 1 1/2 Cmilk
  7. 2eggs not pre-beaten
  8. 1 tspvanilla
  9. 1/3 Cmelted butter set aside
  10. Topping
  11. 1 Cmelted butter
  12. 1 Cpacked brown sugar
  13. 2tblsp flour
  14. 1tblsp cinnamon
  15. Glaze
  16. 2 Cpowdered sugar
  17. 4or
  18. little more tblsp milk
  19. 1/2 tspvanilla

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 350 for metal pan, or 325 for glass pan
    9x13 pan
    Grease the pan

    In a medium bowl, prepare the topping and set aside

    In a large bowl, combine the dry ingredients and stir to mix well

  4. 4

    Add both eggs and milk, whisk together and add the vanilla
    Whisk until smooth

  5. 5

    Now comes the butter-
    While whisking the batter, slowly pour in the butter and stir until it's almost completely absorbed -you want to see ribbons of butter

    Pour in the greased pan

  7. 7

    Add the topping by heaping spoonfuls all around the batter -now take a knife or fork and swirl the topping into the batter
    Don't mix it in! You want to see swirls

    Bake:
    For metal pans, 350 for 25-30 minutes
    For glass pans, 325 for 35-40 minutes

    When the cake is springy in the middle, it's done
    While the cake is cooling, prepare the glaze
    Let the cake cool for 10 minutes and then while it's still warm, drizzle on the glaze
