Steak and Longaniza Burritos

Steak and Longaniza Burritos
Steps
- 1
In a deep skillet over medium heat, add a little oil. Once hot, add the onion, beef steak, and longaniza sausage.
- 2
Stir until all the ingredients are well mixed. Cook until the juices from the meat and sausage have evaporated.
- 3
Stir occasionally during this process to make sure everything is well combined.
- 4
Once the juices have evaporated, add one or two tablespoons of soy sauce and seasoning sauce (add more if you like, but be careful not to add too much so it doesn't get too salty).
- 5
Stir again until the longaniza releases its fat and the sauces are well blended with the meat.
- 6
Continue stirring for 2 more minutes, then remove from heat.
- 7
On a large flour tortilla, spread refried beans, add the cooked meat mixture, and top with shredded Oaxaca cheese (or any string cheese). Fold to form a burrito, then heat on a griddle or skillet over low heat, turning so the tortilla doesn't burn and the cheese melts.
- 8
Remove once hot. If you like, serve with grilled onions, a salad, and of course... a good salsa!
