One dish many names ☺️...What's in a name ? It should be delicious, nutritious and healthy.
Tamatar Kuchumber or Fresco Salsa or Pico De Gallo is Super healthy and nutritious. Its low in Calories and high in fibres with so many vegetables mixed to make it.
When we were kids my mom used to make this sometimes with roasted and sometimes raw tomatoes for breakfast.
We simply used to call Tamatar Pyaz ko Chutney .
Sometimes she used to add roasted Sukuti / Sutki ( Dried Bombay Duck fish ) in it or small dried roasted river fish called Sidra brought from Darjeeling.
When I grew up and started exploring the world and the food world then I was amazed to see the same dish popular by different names in different parts of the world.
I thoroughly enjoy with MicroOven or Tawa Roasted Papad/ Pappadum. When I have a craving for something Chatpata I quickly make this and enjoy with it.
Sometimes I have with oven roasted #leftover rotis as chips and once in a while with Nachos.
I serve it as appetizer in my small get together party and my friends thoroughly enjoy it !
Note: The addition of Chaat Masala and Black rock salt takes the Tamatar Kuchumber/ Pico De Gallo / Fresco Salad to the next level

Either finely chop all the Vegetables or roughly chop the Vegetables and add to the manual chopper, if its small like mine, do it in batches and put it in a bowl (You can do in a food processor also by adding in all ingredients together).
- 2
Add in the seasoning and adjust as per your taste. Serve fresh !
For the Papad:
Divide the Papad into 4 pieces, or keep whole as you desire. Roast the pappadum in microwave oven for 45-60 secs or till the Papad/ pappadum is well roasted. Serve it with the Tamatar Kuchumber/ Fresco Salsa/ Pico De Gallo. Enjoy !
