Prepare the ingredients. Pre-heat the oven to 200c.

For the katsu : Heat the pan with medium heat. Add vegetable oil. Toast the breadcrumbs until it turns golden brown. Transfer to a plate.

Season the pork loin with salt and pepper. Drip in egg. Cover with breadcrumbs.

Bake at 200c for 20 min until it’s done. Cool down on a cooling rack.

For the sandwich : Spread one side of bread slices with butter. Spread mustard and cabbage slices on one bread and tonkatsu sauce on the other. Drizzle tonkatsu sauce over the cabbage.

Place the katsu on the cabbage and finally place the other bread. Place the plate ontop of sandwich to flatten it for 5 min.

Cut in half. Ready to serve.
