Ingredients

10 minutes
2-3 servings
  1. 140 gmsCanned Chickpea (weight after drawing the liquid)
  2. 30 gmsBoiled Beetroot
  3. (you can add more beetroot but it will sweeten the hummus)
  4. 2-3Garlic cloves
  5. 2 TbspsTAHINI (Sesame Paste)
    Tahini
  6. 2 tbspsExtra Virgin Olive oil
  7. as required Water (2-3 tbsps)
  8. as per taste Salt
  9. as per taste Lemon juice
  10. 1/4 tspGrounded Cummin
  11. 1/4 tspGrounded Black Peppercorns
  12. 1/4 tspCayenne Pepper/ Chilli powder
  13. For Garnishing and Topping
  14. as neededExtra Virgin Olive oil
  15. As neededFreshly crushed Black Peppercorns
  16. As required Chopped Parsley (optional)
  17. as required Few Boiled Beetroot (optional)
  18. as per required Pomegranate (optional)
  19. as neededFew Boiled Chickpeas (optional)

Steps

  1. 1

    In the mixer grinder jar add the chickpea, garlic, black pepper, grounded Cummin, salt, cayenne pepper/ Chilli powder and little water about 1-2 tbsps to help in grinding. Once it forms a rough paste, add the tahini and olive oil and lemon juice and give it a good blend and grind it in a smooth paste.

    Put it in a bowl, make a shallow dent and drizzle E.Bhi. Olive oil (must) and garnish it with parsley, pomegranate,boiled beetroot and few chickpeas which is totally optional.
    You can sprinkle some freshly crushed Black Peppercorns while having it.
