A WW2 vet used to make this for every church supper.

Ingredients

6 servings
  1. medium onion, diced
  2. 1 poundground beef
  3. 1 cancrushed tomatoes
  4. 2medium potatoes, diced
  5. 2carrots, chopped
  6. 2 TbsWorcestershire sauce
  7. 2 Tbsminced garlic
  8. 6 cupsbeef stock

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    In stock pot, Saute onion in 2 Tbs Olive oil until translucent

  2. 2

    Add beef and cook until no longer pink

  3. 3

    Add veggies, seasoning, tomatoes with juice and stock

  4. 4

    Cook until carrots and potatoes are tender.

  5. 5

    Serve with biscuits

Started cooking/baking with Gram just as soon as I was old enough to stand in a chair, with her apron tied around my chest. Made my first solo Thanksgiving meal at age 8. Putting a new flair on classic nothern New England style cooking.
