Ingredients

30 mins
20-22 Fritters
  • 1& 1/2 cupsCooked Rice
  • 5 tbspBesan
  • as neededChickpea flour
  • 1/4 tspNigella seeds / Kalonji / Kala Jeera
  • 1small onion chopped
  • 1small Ginger Chopped
  • 1Chilli chopped
  • Few Sprigs of Cilantro Chopped
  • 1 TspChaat Masala or as per taste
  • 1/4 tspTurmeric powder
  • 1 pinchBaking soda
  • 1/2-1 TspSpicy Chilli powder or Kashmiri Chilli powder
  • 1 pinchGaram Masala
  • As Per TasteSalt
  • as per requiredEnough Veg oil to deep fry the fritters

Steps

    Prepare the onion, ginger, etc. as mentioned above. In a bowl add the cooked rice and add everything in it and mix it well, in the process of mixing the rice will get mashed. It will form a dough. I have used Jasmine Rice.

    Deep fry the Pakodas till it's golden brown and crispy. Serve hot!
