It is cooked with goat trotters and spices to give Mutton Paya recipe the heavenly taste and aroma.I always cook paye in a clay pot overnight for more lipsmacking paye.

Wash the trotters in boiling water and keep aside.In a clay pot add trotters with enough water and ingredients.

Let it boil then cover it and simmer for 45-60 minutes on low flame.then take out trotters in a bowl and strain this stock in a strainer keep aside.

Add rest of the spices in yoghurt and mix well.keep aside for later use.reserve 1 tbs whole spice powder for later use.

Meanwhile to save your time prepare gravy😍.heat oil in a pan and add sliced onions.Fry until golden brown then add ginger garlic paste and fry for 2 minutes.

Now add yoghurt mixture stir and cover it.cook for 5 minutes on low flame.keep aside

Heat the same clay pot again and add prepared gravy and mutton trotters.fry for 3-4 minutes

Add the stock and giveva stir let it boil.cover and cook for 2-3 hours /overnight.

Add whole spice powder garinsh with julienne ginger and chopped green chillies.serve with naan/kulcha😍😋❤
