I kinda tinkered with several recipes for tortillas and this is the result. It's a well balanced recipe, with well thought out ratios for each ingredient.

Ingredients

  1. 350 gAll-purpose Flour
  2. 6 SpoonsOlive Oil
  3. 7 gHimalayan Salt
  4. 6 gBaking Powder
  5. 190 mlWarm Water

Cooking Instructions

    Mix the ingredients together until you form a smooth dough ball

  2. 2

    Cover the dough in damp cloth for 10 min

  3. 3

    Divide the dough into 16 smaller dough balls, each should weigh approximately 35 g

  4. 4

    Roll each dough ball until they are as big as a small sized plate

  5. 5

    Place individual tortillas on frying pan with no oil set on high heat

  6. 6

    Flip after 30-50 sec

  7. 7

    Place finished tortillas in a cloth, to preserve texture

  8. 8

    Serve with Pico De Gallo, Rice, Beans and fryed minced meat
