Easy Omurice - Fluffy Filling Wrapped in Egg

While creamy omurice is good, my husband prefers the original omrice, so I experimented and settled on this recipe. It is so easy.
You can add green pepper and carrot to the filling to make the dish more nutritious. It is great for kids.
In Step 5, make sure to only cook the egg until it is half-cooked. If you cook the egg for too long, it will not fold well around the filling. It is best for the underside to be browned, and the top side to be half-cooked. If you cook it well, it will be OK. Recipe by Yokkonkon

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Put some butter in a frying pan. Add bite-sized chicken (I used wiener sausages) and the onion. Stir-fry.
- 2
Add the rice, and when it is mixed in, add the ★ seasonings. This is the chicken rice filling.
- 3
Find a dish you can use to fold the egg. Cover with plastic wrap, and make sure to use enough to completely fold the egg.
- 4
Melt the butter, or spread oil in a frying pan. Add 2 beaten eggs to the pan.
- 5
When the eggs have cooked to your desired consistancy, transfer to the plate covered with plastic wrap. Don't worry if it tears a little.
- 6
Put the half of the filling on top of the egg prepared in Step 5.
- 7
Use the plastic wrap to wrap the egg around the filling. Flip the wrapped filling over, and remove the plastic wrap.
- 8
Cover the omrice with a sheet of paper towel, and gently mold into shape.
