My all time favorite meryenda.. easy to prepare and tasty even ingredients from original recipe is not available..
Steps

Cook noodles according to packaging instructions. Strain noodles and save water.

Make oil hot and saute garlic until golden brown, you can save some cooked garlic for later garnishing too

Add shrimp, salt pepper and annato powder and let shrimp cook.

Empty palabok mix and add 1/2 water, mix well and add to cooked shrimp, stir well.

Pour slowly the water from cooked noodles, taste add salt if needed. Let it boil. If want your sauce little bit sticky just add cornstarch with little water.

Arrange noodle in platter, pour sauce, garnish with brown garlic, spring onions, boiled eggs, lemon, crushed fish crackers.

I don't have chicharon so I used fish crackers 😆
