Sweet Chocolate Chip Cookies

cookpad.japan
cookpad.japan @cookpad_jp

I was told by someone that they wanted to eat Valentine's cookies, so I figured I would give it a try.

These will become closer to Auntie Stella's ( a cookie store in Japan) cookies by spreading th dough out thinly.
Some light-colored bits might remain with only 12 minutes. The light-colored bits will have a crispy but soft texture.
These will become crispy if they turn brown.
These cookies are crispy when made thick, and crunchy when made thin. Recipe by Cookmummy

Steps

  1. 1

Cream butter that has reached room temperature. Then add in the oil, and mix.

  2. 2

Mix in all the sugar, and mix in the whisked egg in three batches.

  3. 3

Add the vanilla oil, add in the chocolate, and lightly mix.

  4. 4

Add in the the sifted cake flour and baking soda at the same time, and lightly mix to get rid of the flouriness. Wrap in plastic wrap and flatten it out evenly, and let sit in the fridge for an hour.

  5. 5

After an hour, preheat the oven to 180℃. Spread out the cookies thinly onto the cookie pan with spaces in-between. They won't spread out too much in the oven if you shape them out thinly.

  6. 6

Bake the cookies in 2-3 batches according to the size of the oven. They will bake in 12-14 minutes.
