Radish leaves sabzi, tomato arhar dal,rice & roti

This lunch menu is satvik.I like this radish dry sabzi with arhar dal , rice and roti.Do try these recipes.In North India arhar dal is frequently made. In winters we enjoy leafy vegetables the most. Radish leaves with radish seasoned with green chilli and garlic make it very tasty.As in arhar dal - boil dal with tomato and then tadka was made in ghee with green chilli ,red chilli ,hing and cumin.#cc2022#week2-

Soak dal in water for 15 min.Cook dal in a cooker with salt, turmeric powder, tomato and 21/2 cup water.After first whistle,slow down the gas.After 3 whistles switch off the gas.

For sabzi- heat mustard oil in a karahi,add cumin, green chilli,garlic.Saute.Add salt, turmeric powder, coriander powder,red chilli powder and radish, radish leaves.Slow down the gas,cover it and cook for 7 - 8 min.Remove the cover and roast it for 3-4 min.or until all the water finishes.

For rice - wash the rice and soak it in the water for 15 min.Now cook it in a cooker with salt,oil and water.One whistle is sufficient,switch off the gas.

For tadka - heat ghee in a pan,add hing,cumin, green chilli and red chilli.Add dal into it and cover.

Make roti and serve your satvik lunch.
