Put oil in pan and heat add in trotters/paye and saute well.put the whole spices mentioned with paye and fry then add water accordingly.

Cook covered on medium flame till become tender and then drain and reserve stock and separate the paye.

In a separate pan heat oil and saute sliced onions when color becomes brown add crushed ginger garlic saute well and put in all dry spices with a little addition of water cook covered till onions become soft and add chopped/sliced tomatoes.

Cook covered when tomatoes become soft,make a paste with hand blender and saute till oil appears on sides and add paye mix well and add the yogurt at this stage and also whole spices and saute well.

When oil appears on sides then add stock and let it boil.then simmer for about half hour or till it becomes thick,sprinkle garam masala powder,cumin powder and fresh green coriander and

Cook covered on very low for 5 minutes till oil appears on top and serve hot with naan or chapatis.
