Ingredients

2 minutes
1 serving
  1. 1/2 cupquick oats
  2. ~1 cup milk or water
  3. 2and 1/2 Tablespoons canned pumpkin
  4. 1/8 teaspoonground cinnamon
  5. 1heaping Tablespoon raisins
  6. Pinchground ginger
  7. Pinchsalt
  8. Sugar or other sweetener to taste
  9. ~1 Tablespoon chopped pecans

    Assemble your ingredients

    In a microwave-safe bowl, combine oats, milk, pumpkin, spices, raisins, salt, and sugar. Stir well.

    Microwave on high power for 1 minute. Stir well, then microwave for another minute.

    Let stand for about 1 minute to cool slightly and thicken. Add chopped nuts, stir, and enjoy.

    Notes:
    👉🏻 Any dairy milk (whole, 2%, 1%, skim) will work.

    👉🏻 I use a little less milk than 1 cup because I like thick oats. You can add more or less depending on preference.

    👉🏻Chopped walnuts also work great. More or less spice or sugar depending on what you like. So many options!
