This is authentic Gujarati sweet made with jaggery (gur), ghee (clarified butter), and atta (whole wheat flour).

First grease the plate with ghee and keep it ready as you have to quickly spread the dish in the plate

In a kadai add 1 cup of ghee in a kadai add one cup aata and keep roasting flour on low flame till aata turns dark brown in colour...it will take 15-17 mins

Add 3/4th cup of grated jaggery...use powder jaggery and quickly close the gas and mix well.... Please don't stir it on gas post adding jaggery it will form into lumps be very quick in mixing and spreading

Transfer it quickly to grease plate, spread it faster and add poppy seeds (khus khus) and just press it and cut the pieces with knife
