Wash rice n soak it for 15-20 minutes.

Add oil to pan. Add cumin seeds. Let it crackles,add bay leaf, then add chopped onions. Cook it till it becomes transculent. Then add chopped mixed vegetables n stir it well and keep lid for a minute.

Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder and stir it.

Add soaked rice and mix it well.
Then add salt and 2 cups of hot water.
Add garam masala n cover with lid.
Let it cook for 10 minutes till rice gets cooked.
Green peas pulao is ready
