GOLA Roti / Ruti

GOLA RUTI ...... RUTI / ROTI made from liquid dough.
Dough made from mixture of half half aata and sooji, soft soft and oil free.
Its a fantastic preparation when you are in a great hurry and have to get your lunch box packed.
They can be either served with pickle or any curry.

Steps

Mix aata + sooji + salt + sugar + milk and mix very nicely and let it rest for 12 - 15 minutes.

Sooji will bloom and absorb milk, so need to add water. We need a thick but flowing and smooth consistency batter. Add chopped coriander, mix well and batter is ready.

Now take a non-stick tawa, pour a ladle full batter and let it spread, cook under medium flame for 2-3 minutes, surface will dry and bubbles will appear. flip the other side and cook for 1-2 minutes.

Repeat the same process for rest of the batter. GOLA Roti is ready to serve and get packed for lunch box.
