Butter Stir-Fried Chikuwa with Shio-Konbu

I tried flavoring with shio-konbu instead of usual butter or soy sauce. This flavor became addictive!
Using the green part of the leek will add more colour and flavour. Adjust the amount of shio-konbu according to your taste. Scallops, kamaboko or chicken will also be tasty in this recipe. Adding garlic will be good too. Recipe by Renbasu
Butter Stir-Fried Chikuwa with Shio-Konbu

Cut the chikuwa and leek diagonally.

Heat the butter in a frying pan, add the sliced red chili peppers and leek, then stir-fry. Add the chikuwa, and continue stir-frying.

Next add the shio-konbu, sprinkle with pepper, and stir-fry for a little more.

Serve on a plate. This dish is great for bento or as a drinking appetizer.
