  • 1 CupOil
  • 1 tbspCoriander powder
  • 1 tbspGaram masala powder
  • 1 tbspCumin Seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 tbspGinger garlic
  • Coriander leaves a handful
  • Mint leaves a handful
  • 1/2 tspYellow Colour
  • 1Tomato
  • 3-4Green Chillies
  • 3-4Fresh red chillies
  • 1 kgChicken
  • 4Potatoes
  • 1 kgRice
  • 1/2 packetBiryani masala
  • 1 tbspKashmiri chilli powder
  • 1 tbspChilli flakes
  • 1/2 tbspTurmeric
  • 1Fried Onion large
  • 1/4 CupMilk

Steps

  1. 1

    Soak rice for few hours.

    Peel and dice the potatoes.

    Chop the tomatoes,coriander,mint and both the chillies.

    Dissolve colour in milk.

    Boil the rice.

    Put all the ingredients in a skillet.

    Cook covered till chicken and potatoes are tender.

    Add in rice.

    Drizzle colour and add in coriander leaves and mint.

    Cook covered on dum for 15-20 minutes.
