Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 1 cupwhole coarse wheat flour
  2. 1/2 cupsemolina (suji)
  3. 1 tspbaking soda
  4. 1 pinchsalt
  5. 1/2 cup+ 2 tablespoon ghee
  6. 1/2 cuppowdered Sugar/bura /jaggery powder
  7. 1 tspcardamom powder
  8. as requireddry fruits of your choice
  9. as requiredMilk

    To prepare a dough, take wheat flour, semolina, salt, baking soda in a mixing bowl and add 2 tbsp of warm ghee. Crumble the mixture with your hands. Now add milk and knead a semi soft dough. Keep it covered with a moist cloth for rest for 15-20 minutes.

    Divide the dough into small balls. Take one part roll in between your palm and flatten it. Preheat the oven at 200 degrees and bake the bati in it placing on a grill rack for 20 -25 minutes.

    When the churma balls puff up with cracks and turns slightly brown and crisp,take them out and cool it at room temperature.

  4. 4

    Break the balls into smaller pieces. Add into the mixture grinder and grind coarse.

  5. 5

    Take it out in a bowl. Now pour warm ghee over it. Add cardamom powder and dry fruits of your choice.
    Mix well and serve.

  6. 6

    This can be stored in a tight airtight container for 2 days.
