  • 4-6 piecesbread
  • For the sugar syrup:
  • 1 cupsugar (about 200 grams)
  • 2/3 cupwater (about 160 ml)
  • 2-3ground cardamom pods
  • Moong dal halwa
  • 1small bowl rabri
  • Chopped mixed nuts and rose petals for garnish
  • Oil for frying the bread

  1. 1

    First, make the sugar syrup in a saucepan. Cook until it becomes slightly sticky.

  2. 2

    Heat oil in a pan. Cut the bread into rounds and fry until golden. Dip the fried bread in the sugar syrup briefly, then remove so it doesn't get too soggy.

  3. 3

    Spread rabri on each bread round, then top with moong dal halwa. Garnish with chopped nuts and rose petals.

  4. 4

    Your quick and easy dessert is ready to serve.
